About the Program

The Roxey Ballet in partnership with the Mill Ballet School Trainee Program is a pre-professional track created to empower career-minded students. Dancers have the opportunity to train more intensely, work with various choreographers, receive professional development mentorship, attend invited rehearsals, and perform alongside the Roxey Ballet Company in select programs. From company rehearsals to professional development skills, this is an opportunity to dive deeper into the world of dance.

There are two programs: The Junior Trainee Program (ages 10-13) and The Senior Program (ages 14-21). Each week, trainees take technique classes, receive mentorship from professional artists, and prepare for the upcoming season performances. Each step of the way helps bridge the gap between student and professional artist. Let's dance, build life skills, and pursue excellence in our artform!
